POP-UP 2016

As part of an elaborate test market launch in 2016, Snapbac set out to introduce a new philosophy in sports — Precovery™. Snapbac believes Precovery™ is rest done right and that if athletes heat, cool and compress with every workout, they will perform better because they recover faster. The brand’s purpose is to democratize Precovery™ for the committed athlete.

 

The Alias team worked alongside globally recognized and award winning independent creative agency, Mother New York, to build the initial brand and orchestrate a pop-up activation following the New York City Marathon in November 2016. The activation included a retail front in SoHo, NY, event programming in the space, a branded mobile unit and a street team of ambassadors that took the Snapbac Precovery philosophy to the streets of NYC and acclaimed local gyms.

 

Through a great collaborative effort, key strategic work revealed a whitespace for the brand to launch. An equally smart design approach was taken to reinforce the brands sports-science and relatable tone. The identity was beautifully executed throughout each consumer touchpoint — apparel, web, packaging, social, retail and mobile units.
